About Us

We have a Hands-On approach which ensures effective, quality treatment sessions. However, decreasing pain is not enough on its own. Good quality rehabilitation and posture correction is vital to avoid recurrence of the issue, and for this we have found Pilates to be one of the most effective Rehabilitation models to follow.

All our Physiotherapists are registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), and are members of the South African Society of Physiotherapy (SASP). They are also certified Pilates Instructors.

Wilien Strydom Physiotherapy is the proud sponsors of Step Up Sport and treat their athletes on a regular basis. We also work in close association with a variety of Specialists and General Practitioners in Somerset West.

Physiotherapist and Practice Owner

Wilien is a Physiotherapist with more than 13 years’ experience in the private Practice environment within the United Kingdom and South Africa. This has provided her with a unique approach in the treatment of pain and restoration of movement. Treatment sessions are complimented by Dry Needling and Acupuncture when required.

Larissa is a Physiotherapist with a strong hands-on approach complimented by her knowledge of Pilates. She also enjoys doing the rehabilitation of Stroke patients.
